New beginning for Bryce

Vivid IoV Labs recently welcomed Bryce Thuilot to the team.

Bryce has been contributing to the development of the backend infrastructure of our live streaming platform and took some time out to tell us about his interests and student life…

Hey Bryce, first up tell us a bit about your background

I am currently a Junior at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts studying Computer Science.

I have previously worked three internships, including an internship at the cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex where I was focused on Software Engineering for the Trade Team.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I like to play video games (currently playing a lot of the new Call of Duty) and also play the synthesizer.

I also am a brother of Phi Delta Theta and the Technical Director (and onair DJ) for WRBB, Northeastern’s student-run radio club.

Tell us about some of your favourite apps, and why do you like them?

My favourite apps would have to be Spotify ( I like to listen to music in the background whenever I'm doing work or going for a walk), Instagram (to check up on my friends and see what interesting things people are doing), and Reddit (just to see what’s trending in the world).

What do you like about this opportunity?

The thing that excites me most about this opportunity is being able to work for a startup.

All my previous internships were with companies that are well established, and I'm excited to be able to contribute to an early stage company such as Vivid IoV Labs!

And finally, what’s your goal for the future?

My goal is to be happy going into work every morning and be able to have time for myself, my family and friends.
